WHAT IS JAM SESSION?

- It is a personalized, real-time listening session for your group to tune in together. With Jam, Premium subscribers will be able to invite others to contribute through a SHARED QUEUE and enjoy a musical experience together.

- Using Jam Session everyone becomes a DJ by queuing the song that you want to play and share to everyone who is in the Jam.

How does Jam Session work?

How does Jam Session work? Jam Session works if one of the listeners will start it by clicking these icon/button. You'll see a "Start a Jam" button by clicking the speaker icon at the bottom of your screen or by hitting the three dot menu within your favorite playlist or song. You can also select a device to play on, whether that's your phone or speaker. Those in your household on your shared Wi-Fi will also be prompted to join the Jam when they open Spotify.

- Once you start a Jam, you can invite a group of friends or family-Free or Premium users, or a mix-so they can share the experience.

- Everyone in the Jam can add songs to the queue, see who added which song, and receive recommendations, all from their own devices. The host also has the ability to determine who's in the Jam, change the order of the tracks, or remove a song that doesn't fit the vibe.

How many listeners can join Jam Session?

- For now only 32 Accounts can join the Jam including the host.

Note: If you have more than 1 account or a family premium you can stream simultaneously using jam session.

Are Free accounts allowed to join?

-Yes, free accounts can join even if they are not in the same room with the host, but the sound will be in the host's phone/speaker, just like playing in silent, but rest assured it is counted. Free accounts holder can also add songs. In addition, both premium and free account can arrange the songs if the control button is turned ON by the host.

NOTE: Premium accounts in the jam has the benefit to choose which speaker to use, either the host or on their own (any audio output) regardless of the distance/place from the host. Premium accounts are the only one that can host a jam and anyone can join either on premium or free.

- You should see those Blends on your library. Blends are also auto-added to your friends' libraries as well.

When I click on a Blend invitation link, Spotify opens up but then nothing happens?

- Make sure that your browser app and Spotify app is up to date and then try again.
